Bio - Lactose Free Milk 500ml

Lactose is a sugar naturally found in milk. People who are lactose intolerant do not produce sufficient amounts of the lactose enzyme in their digestive tract to breakdown and digest the lactose found in milk resulting in bloating, diarrhea, abdominal cramps and general discomfort. 

Bio lactose free milk contains the lactase enzyme which converts the lactose in milk to glucose during a 24 hour layover period under strict hermetic conditions. 

The milk is then sterilized during which the glucose gets naturally caramelized imparting a hint of natural sweetness and caramel colour to this long life milk.
